Recovrd
Tech21 2023.
Recovrd is the first product by Tech21 to be made from 100% recycled materials. The case was designed to be slim and lightweight whilst still providing a high level of impact protection. Tactile buttons, a textured ergonomic grip and a soft-touch finish elevate the design beyond the norm for a recycled product. The product launched to support the iPhone 14 in multiple global retailers, including Apple Stores in 2023.
Thoughtful design, thoughtful materials.
What makes these cases truly special is the material composite, which is a combination of Tech21's hard and soft materials (TPU, TPE and PC) and an innovative manufacturing process that allows us to blend this combination of materials to make Recovrd. This process enabled us to recycle excess stock, RMA materials, and industrial waste from our production process, reducing waste and giving new life to otherwise discarded materials.
Collaboration with Apple Retail.
Working closely with Apple merchants four final colorways were created, which when combined with the soft-touch satin coating, gives a sophisticated yet fresh approach to CMF.
